Just back from a very surprising because fun weekend in a hotel in Aarlen, all in the extreme southern tip of our country. The city has more than 26,000 inhabitants and is the smallest province of Belgian capital. With Tongeren Tournai and Arlon is also recognized as the oldest city of Belgium. During my short stay in that hotel Aarlen I was very much about the history of the region.
